Blockchain analytics company Arkham
announced that its crypto exchange will allow spot trading for users in 17 U.S.
states starting March 1.
Arkham aims to compete with big
platforms like Crypto.com and Coinbase, which together control 85% of the
USD-based crypto trading market.
Users in the following states will have
access to Arkham's spot trading services: Colorado, Hawaii, Indiana, Iowa,
Kansas, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah,
Virginia, Wyoming, Wisconsin, California, Massachusetts, and Montana.
This launch follows Arkham's earlier November
announcement and comes after the company introduced a USDT-based perpetuals
exchange.
Arkham’s token, ARKM, increased 7.41% in the past 24 hours to $0.7437. However, it has dropped significantly from its six-month high of $2.63 in December 2024.
