Binance announced that it will list
Wormhole (W token) on Apr 3, 2024 at 12:00 (UTC).
Wormhole is a cross-chain messaging
protocol. Wormhole is more than just a bridge, it can send crypto assets as
well as information from one blockchain to another blockchain.
Wormhole bridges currently support
Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, Avalanche, Fantom, Celo, Moonbeam, Solana, Sui,
Aptos, Base, Osmosis, Arbitrum, Optimism, Klaytn, Injective, Algorand, Sei,
etc.
Wormhole has been used by developers of
more than 200 applications and more than 1 million unique wallets to move
crypto assets and data across 30 blockchains.
Wormhole’s native token uses ticker
symbol “W”. It has a max supply of 10 billion tokens.
W tokens operate on Ethereum and Solana
blockchains. They are SPL token and ERC-20 token.
They can be transferred seamlessly to
any Wormhole-connected network because they leverage Wormhole’s Native Token
Transfers (NTT) framework for multichain functionality.
W token is a governance token uses for
Wormhole DAO Governance. Token holders can vote for protocol’s future.
