Ethereum Proof-of-Stake Upgrade Could Reach $40 Billion Revenue

Jamie Dimond, JP Morgan CEO and two senior analysts released a report that cryptocurrency industry is moving from Proof-of-Work to a more energy efficiency Proof-of-Stake as a method for creating new blocks and process transactions.

The report said staking industry currently generate $9 billion revenue annually. It could generate $40 billion revenue as most of prominent cryptocurrencies such as Ethereum, Polygon, Solana, and Polkadot adopt Proof-of-Stake mechanism.
