ZRO Claim. Since Uniswap pioneered the mechanism… | by LayerZero Foundation | Jun, 2024 | LayerZero Foundation

LayerZero Foundation has introduced a new claiming mechanism called Proof-of-Donation, which will result in up to $18.5 million donated to Protocol Guild, a collective funding mechanism for Ethereum’s Layer 1 R&D developers.

Claims for ZRO opened on June 20, 2024, at 11:00 AM UTC.

Proof-of-Donation required users to donate $0.10 in USDC, USDT, or native ETH per ZRO as a “proof-of-donation” to support the Protocol Guild.

On June 23, 2024, ZRO was trading at $2.95 per token.

LayerZero said that Protocol Guild and Ethereum’s core developers have been contributed to LayerZero’s growth, they help drive the growth of the EVM, Ethereum’s L2-centric roadmap, and crypto ecosystem.

By donating to Protocol Guild, eligible recipients show long-term alignment with the LayerZero protocol and a commitment to the future of crypto.
