New York area residents can now trade 11 crypto on Robinhood

Robinhood announced on April 24, 2024 that New York area residents can now trade 11 crypto on Robinhood.

 Robinhood on X: "Attention New York 🚨 Shiba Inu ($SHIB), Avalanche ($AVAX) and Compound ($COMP) are now available for New York State residents! 

From April 24 onward residents in New York city area can now trade 11 cryptocurrencies.

1. Shiba Inu (SHIB)

2. Avalanche (AVAX)

3. Compound (COMP)

4. Bitcoin (BTC)

5. Ethereum (ETH)

6. Dogecoin (DOGE)

7. Bitcoin Cash (BCH)

8. Chainlink (LINK)

9. Litecoin (LTC)

10. Ethereum Classic (ETC)

11. Aave (AAVE)

On June 2023, Robinhood removed Cardano (ADA), Polygon (MATIC), and Solana (SOL) after the SEC named them as securities.
