President Biden extended his
condolences to President Tinubu for the devastating floods that have severely
impacted communities in northeastern Nigeria. The conversation also included
commendation for Tinubu’s humanitarian leadership in the recent release of
Tigran Gambaryan, a U.S. citizen and former law enforcement official, who was
freed last week on humanitarian grounds.
