Shiba Inu has announced a plan to launch
a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) to give SHIB holders a say in the
project’s future direction. This move aims to enhance community involvement
and governance within the Shiba Inu ecosystem.
“Shib is preparing to become a key
player in decentralized governance with the upcoming launch of its DAO. This
transition will empower every holder, regardless of the size of their stake, to
have a say in the community’s direction. While the DAO hasn’t been fully
implemented yet, its introduction will mark a major milestone, giving Shibizens
more control over decisions that impact the ecosystem.”
The DAO will feature two primary
councils: the “Charity Council” and the “Culture & Heritage Council”.
These councils will oversee various
initiatives, from charitable outreach to preserving the unique culture of the
Shiba Inu community.
Additionally, other tokens in the SHIB
ecosystem, such as BONE and LEASH, will play roles in the governance process.
