On June 3, 2024, SingularityNET made an
announcement regarding the ASI token.
They have announced the merger dates
for FET, AGIX, and OCEAN tokens to create the ASI token, which will mark the
creation of AI token alliance and a unified decentralized AI network.
The merger of FET, AGIX, and OCEAN will
start on June 11 and finalize June 13.
This move is part of the formation of the Artificial Superintelligence Alliance (ASI) token, that combined SingularityNET, Fetch.ai and Ocean Protocol.
Humayun Sheikh, CEO of Fetch.ai, will be the chairman of the Artificial Superintelligence Alliance.
The ASI token is expected to foster
decentralized AI growth and represents a major step towards a large-scale,
decentralized AI infrastructure.
The merger is a result of the approval
from the token holders of SingularityNET, Fetch.ai, and Ocean Protocol for a
$7.5 billion merger, which was officially launched on May 24.
The ASI token will replace FET token,
AGIX and OCEAN tokens into a single ASI token at specific conversion rates.
Coversion rate of a FET token is 1:1 ratio, AGIX is 1:0.433350, and OCEAN is 1:0.433226.
Fetch.ai (FET), is a blockchain platform that integrates artificial intelligence to automate tasks such as booking flights or parking spaces.
It operates on a decentralized network where autonomous agents, using AI and machine learning, can perform transactions and negotiate deals on behalf of users.
These agents can learn from interactions and optimize their operations over time, offering a range of services from decentralized finance to travel planning. Fetch.ai aims to democratize access to AI, allowing users without technical expertise to benefit from the technology.
SingularityNET is a decentralized platform that aims to democratize access to artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
It operates as a marketplace for AI services, where developers can publish and monetize their AI algorithms, and users can access a variety of AI capabilities.
The platform uses its own cryptocurrency, AGIX, to facilitate transactions and governance within its ecosystem. Founded by Dr. Ben Goertzel, SingularityNET is designed to support the development of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) with the goal of creating a beneficial technological singularity.
Ocean Protocol represents a groundbreaking approach to handling data and AI services, leveraging blockchain technology to enable secure and transparent sharing and monetization of data.
It utilizes a unique system of data NFTs and datatokens, allowing users to maintain privacy while participating in the data economy.
With its innovative compute-to-data feature, Ocean Protocol facilitates the use of AI and machine learning algorithms without compromising the security of the data involved, thus offering a new paradigm for data markets and AI-driven services.
