There was a rumor that SUI was selling
its tokens as well as SUI staking rewards on Binance.
Sui Foundation responded on Twitter that
“Sui Foundation has not sold staking rewards or any other tokens from locked and non-circulating staked SUI on Binance or otherwise. All insider token allocations remain subject to and compliant with their lock ups and other restrictions on transfer.”
SUI plans to launch its Series A sale
on July 11, 2023 that will release 267 million SUI for the first release.
Series A sale will release 800 million SUI in total.
Series B sale will release on May 3,
2024. The initial release is 200 million SUI. Series B sale will release 600
million SUI in total. Series A is accounted for 8% of SUI max supply and Series
B is accounted for 6% of SUI max supply.
Sui currently
has a fully diluted market cap of $6.62 billion. SUI foundation owns 46% of SUI
tokens worth $3.04 billion.
