Tesla’s China chief Tom Zhu has been promoted to the highest executive
after must and oversees Tesla assembly plants as well as oversea sales operation
in North America and Europe. Tom Zhu is going to be the highest executive after
Elon Musk.
Who is Tom Zhu
Tom Zhu was born China and he has dual citizenship of China and New
Zealand. He graduated from Auckland University of Technology in 2004 with a
Bachelor of Commerce in Information Technology degree. Later he studied at Duke
University’s Fuqua School of Business and earned a Master of Business
Administration degree in 2010.
He joined Tesla in 2014.
Before he working at Tesla, he worked as a project manager at Kaibo Engineering
Group. His office is at Shanghai Gigafactory.
