Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino clarified that the company has no plans to launch Tether chain

Paolo Ardoino 🤖🍐 on X: "One of the main reasons for which Tether won't launch a chain anytime soon is that neutrality is very important. Unstoppable TogETHER, our motto, underlines our interest to partner up with other companies and communities rather than trying to centralize everything."

He emphasized the importance of neutrality and collaboration with other entities in the crypto ecosystem. Instead of centralizing everything, Tether aims to partner with other companies, blockchains and communities.

Ardoino mentioned that several independent Layer 2 solutions are currently exploring the use of USDT to support transaction fees. This approach aligns with Tether's motto, "Unstoppable TogETHER," which underscores their interest in collaboration rather than centralization.

 Tether reported 2024 nine-month profit of $7.7 billion, including a Q3 profit of $2.5 billion.
