Ethereum founder, Vitalik Buterin sold
meme tokens that he received as gifts, causing those meme token prices to be plummet. Meme tokens previously
sent airdrops to Vitalik’s wallet as gifts which he did not want.
Information from Lookonchain revealed a
list of meme tokens that Vitalik sold for 444.15 ETH which equivalent to 700k.
The list of meme tokens sold by Vitalik Buterin includes:
SHIKOKU
(SHIK), Vitalik sold 500 trillion tokens for 380 ETH, valued at $600,000.
He sold 10
billion tokens of Cult DAO (CULT) for 58.1 ETH worth $91,000
He sold 50
billion Mops (MOPS) tokens for 1.25 ETH worth $1,950.
The sale of
meme tokens by Vitalik affects the prices of the tokens. SHIKOKU (SHIK) price
went down 70.85% in the past 24 hours. Follow by Cult DAO (CULT) which 24-hour
price went down 80.36%. Whereas, MOPS, the meme-dog token price surge 933.62%
in the past 24 hours after Vitalik’s massive selloff.
Sending
airdrops to Vitalik’s wallet is one of the methods for growth hacking strategy.
