Atlassian Corp. a software developer company that has
developed many well-known software such as Trello announced on October 12, 2023 that it has made an
agreement to acquire Loom a video messaging platform for $975 million.
Loom founded in 2016, it
is based in San Francisco, California. Loom lets users communicate through instantly
shareable videos by record and share their screen and camera
videos. 5 million Loom videos have been created
every month by 200,000 customers.
Surprisingly, the
acquisition happens at the same time with the rise in the price of LOOM, the token is
unrelated to the acquisition. Loom Network is a blockchain platform
that allows developers to build sidechains and scalable decentralized
applications across multiple blockchain networks including
Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tron, and BNB Chain.
