Jack Dorsey , the former CEO of Twitter and current founder and supporter of various crypto projects, holds a strong belief in the potential of bitcoin (BTC).

He predicts that by the year 2030, bitcoin will reach an astonishing value of $1 million.

During an interview with Pirate Wires, Dorsey was questioned about his price forecast for bitcoin. He responded by stating, "I don't know. At least a million. I truly believe it will surpass that number."

While Dorsey finds the price of the cryptocurrency fascinating, it is the broader ecosystem and movement surrounding bitcoin that truly captivate him.

"One of the most remarkable aspects of bitcoin, apart from its origin story, is the fact that anyone who contributes to its development, receives payment in it, or acquires it for personal use actively enhances the entire ecosystem, thereby driving up its value," he explained.

Although the current price of bitcoin stands at $60,886, the notion of it reaching $1 million may seem far-fetched.

However, other influential figures in the industry have also expressed similar optimistic projections.

Cathie Wood, the founder and CEO of Ark Invest, has taken it a step further by predicting that the token will reach $1.5 million by 2030.

Since stepping down as the CEO of Twitter in 2021, Dorsey has emerged as a vocal advocate for the crypto space, spearheading and endorsing numerous projects over the years.

In 2019, he became a supporter of the social media startup BlueSky. However, he recently distanced himself from the venture as his vision for a decentralized social media platform aligned more closely with a competitor called Nostr.

Furthermore, Dorsey established a company called Square in 2009, which underwent a rebranding to Block in 2021 to reflect his growing interest in blockchain technology.
