Coinbase's Investment In Rocket Pool Through RPL Purchase Sent RPL Token Rebound

Coinbase Venture, an investment arm of Coinbase bought undisclosed amount of Rocket Pool native token RPL.

Coinbase Venture explained on Twitter that this is a strategic investment. Strategic investment means in the future Coinbase might have a partnership with Rocket Pool.

Rocket Pool has the most node operators more than any other liquid staking services including Lido Finance. It currently has 3,114 node operators. RPL rank 68th largest crypto by market cap. RPL has a fully diluted market of $546 million. 

Coinbase's investment in Rocket Pool through RPL purchase sent RPL token rebound from $24.51 on August 9 to $27.25 on August 12.
