On October 26, 2023 decentralized cryptocurrency
exchange dYdX officially launched stand alone dYdx
Chain built using the Cosmos SDK.
The genesis block of dYdX Chain was created on October 26, 2023. dYdX tokens are the native tokens of
dYdX Chain. Token holders
can become validators of the DYDX Chain by staking tokens and securing the
network, or they can be delegators by delegate their tokens to validators.
Trading fees on dYdX
will be collected with USDC or DYDX tokens. All fees collected from trading on the platform
will be given validators and stakers. Gas
fees will also collect in USDC or DYDX .
In
conclusion, dYdX Chain will charge transaction fees in USDC and
distribute all USDC collected
from these transactions to validators and stakers.
