On June 19, 2024, EigenLayer announced that EIGEN claim for Phase 2, Season 1, is now open at https://claims.eigenfoundation.org.

 


Phase 2 EIGEN claim is now open and it distributes about 113 million EIGEN tokens.

 

Phase 2 marks the completion of Season 1. Season 2 will be coming in the future.

 

EIGEN utility



EIGEN tokens can be used for staking and restaking on EigenLayer.

 

EigenLayer is an Ethereum restaking protocol. It currently has $18.942 billion in TVL.
