Rumors are circulating on social media
that the FTX bankruptcy estate will begin distributing reimbursement to
creditors on September 30, 2024 but these are not accurate.
According to the latest updates, the
FTX bankruptcy distributions to creditors and customers will not begin on that
date. The next court hearing to confirm the restructuring plan is scheduled for
October 7, 2024.
If the plan is approved by the court,
creditors with claims under $50,000 will be receiving funds by the end of 2024.
The reimbursement estimates to be between
$5 billion and $8 billion of funds inflow into the crypto market.
