Aave Labs has introduced three governance proposals to guide the development of Aave V4.
These proposals, part of the advanced research stage of the Aave V4 roadmap, aim to enhance Aave's lending platform.
The improvements include better support for the native GHO stablecoin, reduced transaction fees, and the automation of interest rate calculations for borrowing.
Additionally, the proposals outline plans to streamline the governance process of the decentralized autonomous organization (DAO).
According to Aave Labs, Aave V4 represents a significant leap forward in DeFi, designed to revolutionize capital efficiency, risk management, and scalability.
The release of Aave V4 is scheduled for mid-2025. This upgrade is part of a broader initiative called Aave 2030, which aims to comprehensively transform the look and functionality of the protocol by 2030.
Aave V3, the current iteration of the protocol, was launched two years ago across multiple networks and was subsequently deployed on the Ethereum mainnet in early 2023.
