RTFKT will launch Nike-inspired real sneakers, only selling them in the U.S.

RTFKT, a Nike-owned fashion, and collectibles company will launch Nike-inspired real shoes with web3 functionality, sold exclusively in the U.S. This makes some interested buyers abroad less than satisfied.

To launch a new digital collection that’s named “Cryptokicks iRL” There are features such as an automatic laceration system, customizable LEDs through the App, gesture control, walking detection system, and more, with sneakers supporting NFC-NFT linkages and NFC-NFT authentication with special chips.

RTFKT has hinted that sneakers may have a move-to-earn system, which could be comparable to the Solana base on the Stepn game, which rewards users for walking or running.

There will be a private mint for Lace Engine NFT holders beginning on 12 Dec, 10:30 AM EST. If you hold a Lace Engine NFT, you can mint before and during the public mint, until supply lasts.
