Ultimate Wallet acquired by Solana DEX aggregator as part of mobile push.

Solana DEX aggregator Jupiter made an announcement on Tuesday regarding its acquisition of Ultimate Wallet, a self-custody crypto wallet firm. 

This strategic move is aimed at expanding Jupiter's user base by millions through a mobile expansion initiative.

In addition to sharing the acquisition news on X, Jupiter revealed that their "mobile initiative to onboard tens of millions of users" will commence and be ready for beta testing in May.

Jupiter emphasized that the acquisition of Ultimate Wallet aligns with their mobile strategy. 

They recognized Ultimate Wallet as one of the top DeFi mobile apps and expressed their intention to utilize the technology and expertise of the Ultimate Wallet team to enhance Jupiter Mobile.

Ultimate Wallet also confirmed the acquisition by Jupiter on X. 

They expressed excitement about joining forces with Jupiter, Solana's leading exchange. 

Ultimate Wallet shared information regarding the transition of their crypto wallet, stating that the current Ultimate app will be discontinued on May 22nd, 2024. 

Until that date, users can continue using the wallet normally, with the assurance that their funds are secure.
